With assistance from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, the Green Infrastructure Foundation and Ontario Parks Association have developed two training courses focused on green infrastructure. Introduction to Green Infrastructure: Principles, Applications, and Policies; and Valuing the Benefits of Green Infrastructure: Principles and Methods were developed through early 2018, and piloted to a combined total of over 100 staff in Toronto, London, Waterloo, Guelph, Brampton, and Barrie.

Both courses are also currently available online, on-demand, on the Living Architecture Academy platform.
